On September 22nd, more than 120 individuals attended the TFIC annual meeting in Bolingbrook for presentations and conversations with U.S. Senator Dick Durbin, Congressman Dan Lipinski and others regarding the upcoming federal transportation authorization debate and efforts to increase state investment in transportation. We also heard from TFIC leaders about the coalition’s vision for developing federal policy position statements to be communicated to our Congressional delegation and to other Congressional leaders on transportation issues. Thanks to those who attended and also to the fine staff at Bolingbrook Golf Club for another successful meeting!
